Danica Basta was born in 1951 in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1977 in the class of prof. Stojan Celić. Painter Danica Basta completed his postgraduate studies in 1979. She has been a member of ULUS since 1978. She works as a professor at the College of Fine and Applied Arts in Belgrade.
