Painter Branko Miljuš

Painter Branko Miljuš was born in the village of Gornja Dragotinja near Prijedor on March 22, 1936. He graduated from the painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1958 in the class of Professor Nedeljko Gvozdenović and master's studies in graphics under Professor Boško Karanović in 1961. He specialized in graphics in the studio of Johnny Friedlander in Paris. He was a painter, printmaker, mosaicist and stained glass artist. He was engaged in illustration and graphic design and pedagogical work. He was a regular professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka and a visiting professor at several faculties in Serbia. He died in Belgrade on February 29, 2012.
