Painter Dušan Rajšić was born in Gospić in 1970. He began his sculpture studies in Zagreb in 1990, and graduated from FLU in Belgrade in 1996. He is the editor of the art program of the Center for Culture in Lazarevac and a member of ULUS. He designed and realized scenography and costumes for several theater performances in the "Puls Theater" in Lazarevac, as well as several posters for various cultural and artistic events. He exhibited drawings and sculptures at several solo exhibitions. He is the author of the memorial to the painter Štraub Jožef in Bačka Topola and the Lazarova monument to those killed in the wars of 1990-1999. His works can be found in many private art collections in Serbia and other South Slavic countries.
