Painter Goran Mitrović was born in 1968 in Sremska Mitrovica. He gained his first artistic experience in the studio of the academic painter Dragan Martinović. He entered the Academy in 1990, in Sarajevo, in the class of professor Ratko Lalić. He finished his studies in Novi Sad in the class of professor Dušan Todorović. He had his first solo exhibition in Belgrade (1993), while attending the third year of the Academy, and exhibitions in other cities immediately followed. In addition to solo exhibitions, he also participated in numerous collective exhibitions in the country and abroad. He was a member of the association of fine artists ESNAF. He participated in numerous group exhibitions organized by this association.
