Painter Saša Klikovac works under the pseudonym Salvatore. The neomodernism of Saša Klikovac includes a wide aesthetic range of stylistic and artistic phenomena and technical solutions. In addition to the prevailing expressionism of broad strokes and gestural painting, he introduces various phenomena of abstraction, from the lyrical, associative one, with a starting point in reality to high impasto paintings, thicker layers of paint and luxurious painted surfaces. In some works, the model is from nature, but transformed into a new, artistic reality. These are the motifs of horses, bison, dragons, parrots, flowers, or a castle, a church in Montmartre, jungles, knights and even Babaroga.
